I’d had chapped lips for my entire life, 30+ years. Some balms worked better than others, but seemed to only help for a few days and then stop working. I read about this product and although it seemed expensive for “just a lip balm” (vs. a lipstick) I decided to give it a try. Well, it is SO WORTH IT. Within a few days of using it, my lips were chap-free, smooth, pink, and pretty. My boyfriend even noticed the difference in how they look! I’ve now been using this product for about 3 months and it’s amazing how much of a difference this has made. I had tried almost every other lip balm at the drug store, health food store, etc., and this is the only one that has done the trick for me. The search is over! I have bought numerous tubes of this now and keep it stashed all over the place.

Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Plump Perfect Lip Moisture Cream SPF 30 0.5oz Review
Maybe it’s the spearmint extract in it that reminds me of chewing gum/toothpaste when I first tried it. I use it to prepare my dry lips (which manage to peel every morning despite putting on gloss right before going to bed every night + drinking water). It does a superb job plumping surface lines and wrinkles on and around the lip contour as claimed…I am very happy with the result. It helps alot when applying on lipstick/gloss later on. You don’t end up with creases filled with excess colors. For this 5++ stars. The moisturizing effect doesn’t last long on me however. Within a few hours…my lips start to peel as usual. Hence, the 4 star rating. But if I put on a gloss over my lipsticks (like Philosophy Melon Daiquiri)or just the gloss the peeling stops. I may buy this again, only if I do not find anything better.
